Smash Hits, Hot In Cleveland and Words With Friends

This week on Diff'rent Strokes...

MAGAZINES:

There's a spot on our wall where Backstreet Boys posters used to live. Tonight we pay tribute to Smash Hits magazine and all the joy they brought us before kids learned to access the interwebs for their pop music fix.

TV:

Betty White is back on TV, kids! Hot In Cleveland has been tipped as the modern day Golden Girls - also starring Wendie Mallick (Just Shoot Me), Jane Leeves (Frasier) and Valerie Bertinelli (One Day At A Time). Dave is suitably impressed with season one so far, hear his thoughts tonight.

ONLINE:

Jade is obsessed with Words With Friends - the iPhone-based answer to Scrabble. Tonight we talk about this novel idea of getting together to play a board game without any physical human interaction.

Prepare for what one would expect to be a high-brow postmodern and philosophical discussion but will probably end up as one of zero value with Dave mainly talking over Jade as usual.
