The All New Diff'rent Strokes

The wait is ova, Rihanna style.

Diff'rent Strokes pilots their all new format tonight: prepare for a camp and geek collision of all things media!

"A change is as good as a holiday! It was time for us to refine the focus of the show," says Jade who has been co-hosting the show with Dave for over two and a half years now.

"A media focused show makes sense because both Jade and I both work in the media. It's our opportunity to marry our interests in magazine publishing, podcasting and music and give you guys our signature Diff'rent Strokes take on those topics," Dave explains.

Our new episodes will feature all new segments on :
- Music
- Podcasts
- Magazines
- Online/Blogs
- TV
- and more...

"We're excited about new opportunities for interviews and more in-depth discussions about what we're passionate about. I mean, it could only mean more pop music rants from David Lim!" says Jade.

In our pilot episode tonight...

MAGAZINE:

Dave talks about the interesting hybrid magazine/album booklet package found in Mariah Carey's new album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel. This luxurious 34-page mini Elle magazine dedicated to all things Mimi is the first of its kind... could it signal a new lucrative partnership between the magazine publishers and record companies?

MUSIC:

Jade reviews the new Tegan & Sara album, Sainthood and reflects on famous sibling bands. Hanson, anyone?

PODCAST:

Jade presents an introduction to one of her favourite podcasts - Planet Money. Even if you're not an economics guru, you'll fall in love with their witty anecdotes and pop culture references. Check out Planet Money's podcasts here.
